Title: 6 Week Bran Muffins

2 cups All Bran
4 cups natural bran
Pour 2 cups boiling water over and let stand 10 minutes.
Add:
1 cup margarine
2 cups brown sugar
4 beaten eggs
½ cup molasses
1 ½ tsp salt
1 litre buttermilk
3 cups chopped dates
2 cups raisins
5 cups flour (can be whole wheat)
5 tsp baking soda
Bake in 400° oven for 20-25 minutes. This batter will keep in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks and can be baked as needed.
