Title: Bran Muffins

Soak 2 cups bran cereal in 2 cups hot water.
Cream:
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 cup molasses
Stir in:
1 quart buttermilk
Add the soaked bran mixture.
Mix:
5 cups flour
5 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
Add this to creamed mixture along with 4 cups dry bran and 3 cups raisins.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
