Title: Ginger Molasses Scones

2 cups flour
1 T sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¾ tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
¼ cup cold butter
1 egg
¼ cup molasses
½ cup buttermilk
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Pour egg, molasses and buttermilk into a well in the center of dry ingredients. Mix just to form a smooth dough. Knead 5 to 8 times. Form into 2 circles, each about 1 ½" thick. Score each into 6 wedges. Bake at 425°for 20-25 minutes.
