Title: Welsh Cakes

Cream 2 T butter
Gradually blend in ¾ cup sugar
Add and beat in 2 eggs
Sift together
2 cups flour
2 tsps baking powder
¼ tsp salt
Add to creamed mixture, stirring to combine. Add
1 cup currants, washed and drained
1 tsp vanilla
Chill. Roll out ¼" thick. Fry on ungreased griddle or fry pan till browned. Flip and brown other side.
