Title: Butter Tart Squares

Bottom Layer: 1 cup flour
¼ cup sugar
½ cup butter
Cut butter into flour and sugar to make fine crumbs. Press into ungreased 9" square pan and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
Top layer:
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
2 T flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp vanilla
1 cup raisins
½ cup currants, washed and dried
Mix butter, sugar, flour, baking powder and vanilla. Stir in raisins and currants. Pour over base and bake at 350° for 25 minutes more.
