Title: Brown Sugar Fudge Frosting

1 ½ cups brown sugar
¾ cup whipping cream
Cook in heavy saucepan, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves. Put lid on saucepan and cook for a minute to wash down the crystals on the side of the pan. Remove lid and cook just to soft ball stage, stirring only occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the pan. Remove from heat and put 2 T butter and 1 tsp vanilla into the pan. Don’t stir. Let sit without stirring until the pan is warm to the touch. Beat until it just starts to lose it’s gloss and is creamy. Spread immediately on the cake.
