Fresh Strawberry Pie

½ cup sugar
2 T cornstarch
1 ½ cups water
Mix and cook until it boils, stirring constantly. Take off heat and add
1 pkg strawberry jello
Cool but do not let set. Add
1 ½ cups to 2 cups fresh sliced or halved strawberries. Pour into a 9" baked pie shell. Chill. Top with whipped cream.
